So where do I start?: A good place to start is from the beginning, from a foundational approach.
“Where do I start” for health improvement to re-establish solid health is an age old question. It is a legitimate question and often concern. Whenever building anything, the most important aspect to consider is the foundation because if the foundation is weak, the whole structure will be venerable or become weak and not last. This applies to any structure, whether it is a building or a body.
With this in mind, how does this foundational approach apply to our bodies? Let’s look at nature who was the original provider for nutritional support. The foods that were originally available, were wholesome, complete and clean in being not contaminated. This is no longer the case. Commercial farming practices have stripped the land of vital and essential nutrients for the foods that are grown on them to be wholesome and complete, Because the foods are less sturdy and complete, they are subject to damage from natural predators and they are therefore heavily sprayed with chemical pesticides fungicides and herbicides that also contaminate our foods. Many of our foods are highly processed, which leaves them void in phytonutrients that have not yet been discovered. This may be good for shelf life, but it is lacking an insufficient for our bodies.
All of these factors have contributed to the erosion of our nutritional foundation. There have been many products that evolved as well as many approaches to effectively address this need. Some of these have provided the necessary support and produced health benefits, but how does one know by how much and is it sufficient to meet al of the bodies needs?
First of all, whole food based supplementation is the most compatible with filling the voids that exist in our real foods as well as the processed ones. Whole food based nutrient support is more efficient and effective in helping meet the body’s nutritional needs, and if for no other reason that it comes closer to meeting what nature intended for us to have and use to support our health. Also synthetics adds stress to the body as it deals with them and the end result of what is actually utilized is reduced and most of the time dramatically reduced.
Even when the best supplements are utilized, the questions still exists: Is my body actually getting what it needs to effectively support health as well as address all of it’s health challenges; How do I know what to take; and How much do I need? These are all excellent questions that have a simple, but not always obvious answer. It is to ask your body questions and listen to the answers.
You may say, How do I do that? Our body is constantly talking to us in the ways of how we feel, how we function, how we think, and how we react. These are signs of symptoms. They can be good or bad, depending what is going on inside of us. When we start practicing being aware of our body’s talk, we are listening and learn what our body is trying to tell us. If we listen carefully, it can make a big difference, one that could even save our life at times.
There are some specifics involved. They include making ourselves disciplined enough to observe our body’s responses to the nutrition that we provide it, learning what symptoms are associated with what nutrients and potential deficiencies, making a daily diary of our health symptom wise, analyzing the results, and supplementing in the areas that appear to be deficient. Our body will tell us long in advance of health problems that are brewing and if we listen and react accordingly, we will be able to obtain as well as maintain health and wellness.

You may say that this seems like a lot, but it pays big dividends to those who can accomplish using this technique of listening to what your body is saying and then reacting accordingly. After all the best consultant who should have the most interest in your health is you and when you achieve this taking control of your own health, you are the one who is able to benefit the most. Healthy Foods and Tips

Castor Oil
Directions
- Only use cold pressed Castor Oil.
- Apply about ½ oz of Castor Oil to a piece of flannel (cotton or wool) about 4 in X 4 in to 4 in X 6 in. or a 4 X 4 sterile gauze pad (do not soak cloth).
- Cover desired area (center of abdomen for lymph → pyers patch) or other area of concern [knee] from swelling, damaged tissue or to assist lymph function.
- Place plastic over the cloth, cover with heating pad or hot water bottle or other source of heat (can do without heat, but it enhances healing/cleansing).
- Leave on for 30-45 minutes (can leave on over night if desired).
- Remove and can cleanse with distilled water, no soap or chemicals.
- Repeat as needed or deemed necessary.
Thyroid Area
- Take equal amounts (about ¼ oz of each) of castor oil (cold pressed) and aloe vera gel and mix together
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger, mix and place on a 4 X 4 in gauze.
- Place it over the thyroid area (mid center of throat), then cover with plastic, then a heating pad on medium for 30 minutes.
- Do this for 1 X / week for 2 months, then 1 X / month.
Thymus Area
- Apply approximately 1/2 oz of castor oil (cold pressed) to a 4 X 4 in gauze.
- Place it over the thymus area (mid center of chest), then cover with plastic, then a heating pad on medium for 30 minutes.
- Do this for 1 X / week for 2 months, then 1 X / 6 months.
Castor Oil / Aloe Pack
- Take equal amounts (about ¼ oz of each) of castor oil (cold pressed) and aloe vera gel and mix together and place on a 4 X 4 in gauze.
- Place it over the thymus area (mid center of chest), then cover with plastic, then a heating pad on medium for 30 minutes.
- Do this for 1 X / week for 1-2 months.
Pyers Patches Area
- Apply approximately 1/2 oz of castor oil (cold pressed) to a 4 X 4 in gauze.
- Place it over the lower mid area of the abdomen, then cover with plastic, then a heating pad on medium for 30 minutes.
- Do tis for 1 X / week for 2 months, then 1 X / month.
Castor/Aloe Pack
- Take equal amounts (about ½ oz of each) of castor oil (cold pressed) and aloe vera gel and mix together and place on a 4 X 4 in gauze opened to 4 X 8 in.
- Place it over the lower mid area of the abdomen, then cover with plastic, then a heating pad on medium for 30 minutes.
- Do this for 2 X / week for 2 months, then 1 X / month.
Stepping Up To Better Health
The first step: increase the amount of cooked vegetables you eat each day. For many people, one serving a day of any vegetable is a dramatic increase.
The second step: reduce the amount of protein foods you eat each day. Have smaller servings of beef, poultry, or fish as you continue to add more cooked vegetables to your meals.
The third step: cook the vegetables less and include one serving of raw vegetables or fruit every day.
The fourth step: begin to reduce your intake of salt, caffeine (coffee, tea, soft drinks) and processed (fabricated) snack food.
The Ideal Percentages of Foods 45% cooked fruits and vegetables; 30% raw fruits and vegetables; and 25% grains, nuts, seeds, meat, fish, or poultry.
Protein in our Diet
The ideal amount daily should be less than 30 grams or between 15-30 grams depending upon your activity levels and if they are more than 2 times average up to 30-45 g protein as well
as increasing proportionally the amount of complex carbohydrates and fatty acids to 1 ½ to 2 times average.
Time to restore pH Balance and Normal Body Functioning Under ideal conditions: six months to a year.
Meals
Morning meal: eat fruit (it is cleansing), then if need to eat more, wait 15-20 minutes before consuming additional food.
Lunch: Vegetables, salads, grains, little to no high protein (meats, eggs, fish, dairy OK but small serving.
Dinner: Vegetables, salads, eggs, small serving meat 4-6 oz, dairy (cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc) if have starches do not have high protein food.
Snacks
Eat only one kind or group of food at a time. Celery, carrots, raisins, fruit, grain (bread, bagel, toast, etc. Afternoon or evening (higher in protein): nuts, seeds, hard boiled egg.
Do not mix starches with high protein foods, do not mix fruits with starches, melons should be eaten alone, do not mix protein with sweet fruits or sugar, BEGIN each meal with something raw (starts enzyme metabolism) Little to no liquids with meals (dilutes digestive juices – liquid is in fruit and vegetables). Fruit best for first meal, protein best for last meal.
Indigestion
- By eating green ginger salad adding in it a pinch of rock salt-common salt before meal, cures indigestion. You also feel hungry.
- Indigestion is cured by licking mixture of mint juice and sanchal.
- By drinking a mixture of 1/2 tsp bishop weed seed, a pinch of rock salt-common salt in lemon juice, cures indigestion.
- By mixing 1 tsp green ginger juice and 2 tsp honey in a glass of warm water and by drinking this water cures indigestion.
- If you don't feel hungry at all then by eating 1/2 tsp bishop weed seed twice a day after chewing it properly will make you feel hungry.
- By taking mustard seed powder along with water cures indigestion.
- Cut ripe pineapple into pieces, sprinkle pepper and rock salt on it and eat it to cure indigestion.
- Mix 1 tsp leomn juice, 1 tsp green ginger juice and a pinch of rock salt-common salt togather and drink it to cure indigestion.
- Cut a lemon, sprinkle rock salt-common salt on it and suck it before having meal to cure indigestion
- By taking equal quanity of gram and asafetida along with ghee cures indigestion.
- Take equal quanity of dry ginger, pepper, long pepper and rock salt-common salt and make a powder of it. By taking this powder in butter miilk cures indigetsion.
- By drinking onion juice mixing in it roasted asafetida cures swelling of belly.
- By eating garlic buds seasoned in oil or by eating garlic ketchup, cures tastelessness - inactivity.
- Make a decoction of mangos teen, add ghee in it and drink it to cure indigestion.
- Take equal quainity of fenugreeek seed and anise seeds, roast both of them and half pulverize it. By eating half/half tola's from it cures swelling of belly and sour belching.
- If the belly is more swollen, stomach ahs become like a drum and if you suffer from stomach ache then by applying asafetida paste around the navel adn on the stomach, gives quick relief.
- Mix equal quanity of garlic, sugar and rock salt-common salt, mix double the quantity of ghee and eat it to cure indigestion and swelling of belly.
- Heat a tomato slightly, sprinkle sindhalun and ssalt on it and eat it to cure indigestion.
Removing Gallstones Naturally

because we all have them. Moreover, gallstones may lead to cancer. "Cancer is never the first illness," Chiu Nan points out. "Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer.
In my research in China, I came across some materials which say that people
with cancer usually have stones. We all have gallstones. It's a matter of
big or small, many or few.
One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal. You feel like you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area." So if you think you have gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally.
The treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, because the liver
and gallbladder are closely linked.
Regimen:
- For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, avoid all oils, fats, fried foods, etc. Eat as much vegetables and fruit as possible.
- On the sixth day, take no dinner.
- At 6 PM, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.
- At 8 PM, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.
- At 10 PM, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.
The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. "Usually they float," Chiu Nan notes. "You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 30, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many."
"Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.
Recipe for Fig Paste
- Take 1 cup of finely chopped mission figs and place into sauce pan,
- Add 1/2 cup water, mix and heat on low,
- Simmer until mixed well and liquefied (about 3-5 minutes),
- Add 1/4 cup corn starch and 2 TBL honey and mix while cooking on low heat,
- Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally,
- Remove from heat and let cool,
- Place covered in refrigerator.
- Take 1 - 2 tablespoons per day.
- [Note can double, triple, etc amounts if have enough ingredients]
Parasites throughout history
Acts 12:23 The angel of the Lord smote him. Josephus says he lingered five days in great agony (This harmonizes with Luke's account). He was eaten of worms. Josephus says he was taken with abdominal pains; Luke explains the cause. The disease is by no means unknown. Many cases of death from the same cause are on record. Among others the Emperor Galerius, the predecessor of Constantine the Great, so died.
Cold and Flu
- Gargle with hot salt water 3-5 times a day. To 4 ounces of water, as hot as can gargle with, add ½ teaspoon of sea salt, stir and gargle several times till all water is used.
- If you have or can get a nasal spray bottle (can get one at store with saline in it for 1-2 dollars). If have empty one add some saline (to make saline add 1 teaspoon sea salt to 8 ounces of good water) Spray several times in each nostril while breathing in through nostrils (to cleanse whole area well), then blow nose to eliminate excess fluids. Do this 2-3 times a day until no longer needed.
- Place several drops of colloidal silver in each nostril 2-3 times. Do at times different from the saline spray, at least 5 – 10 minutes after.
- Spray (or squirt several droppers) of colloidal silver into the back of the throat several times a day (3-5 times)
- Get Vitamin C with zinc lozenges and suck on them throughout the day (3-5 / day)
- Get a cool mist humidifier (if you do not already have one – can get at Walgreen’s or WalMart or Price Right etc.) and add 8 ounces of colloidal silver to a gallon of distilled water and also add 5-7 drops of GSE (Grapeseed extract). Run this at night next to where you sleep and can breathe mist. Do this for 1 hour each night for 2-3 days.
- If you can get it, get AlliBiotic by NOW and take 2 - two times a day for 2-3 days and then 1 / day for a week.
- If have transfer factor, take 3 / day for 3 days.
- Acidophilus, take 2-3 times the suggested amount for a week
- Castor oil packs, one over the throat and one over the abdomen (see directions) Can do both at one time or separately. Do 1 / day for 2-3 days.
- If taking a herbal bowel stimulant [FBS] (herbal tab, etc take an extra one and if not taking any, take 1 FBS at night for 2-3 days.
- Take 3-4 FICS in AM for 3 days in a row
- Think lots of happy thoughts and pray for as many other people as you can for three days straight.
- Do all of these and you should not have any cold or flu within 3 days and you will be so busy dealing with doing these that it will go so fast you won’t realize that you had the cold.
Lymphatic Exercises
To start do a neck roll keeping your head as close to your body as possible. Roll in one direction 3 times and then in the other direction 3 times.
Next, massage your lymph vessels, using a ball, jar, or similar item. Start at the upper chest and breast area, work under each arm up to the elbows, continue down the abdomen, especially the center (a network of lymph are there), continue down in the groin areas.
and down to the knees. Apply a moderate amount of pressure when massaging.
Next, bounce on heels on a hard surface. Bounce 20 times.
Then bounce 10 times on either a trampoline or couch or bed. To bounce on a couch or bed, get on it on your knees to bounce.
Note: to stimulate the lymph during the day, occasionally take a long deep breath or take 3 short quick hard breaths and 1 long deep one. This is excellent for stimulating the lymph. Also get adequate rest, which is when the lymph system does its major cleansing.
Iridology
Iridology is the scientific analysis of patterns and structures in the iris of the eye locating areas and stages of inflammation throughout the body. The iris is the colored portion of the eye. It reveals body constitution, inherent strengths and weaknesses health levels, and transitions that take place in a person's body according to their way of life.
Like most Western healing arts, iris diagnosis literature cities Hippocrates as an original practitioner. Its early history also includes trainings in iris diagnosis at the Medical School of Salerno. A 1630 book, Chiromatica Medica, notes that signs in the iris indicate diseases.
Author Philippus Meyens believed that the condition of the heart and spleen could be read in the left iris, the liver n the right. And, on a non-scientific level, people have always looked into the eyes of their fellow humans-and other animals-to determine feelings and physical well-being. Shepherds, for example, have long examined their sheep's eyes to cull the week ones from the flock.
The mythical origin of modern iridology credits a Hungarian physician, Dr. Ignaz von Peczely. As a boy struggling with a captured owl, Peczely broke its leg. He noticed a dark spot appear just then in its eye. This incident was supposed to have inspired Peczely to pursue his study of injuries and iris marks as a medical student and surgical intern.
After several decades of comparative study, he developed an iris topology. Superimposing a clock face over drawings of the eyes, he mapped organs across zones identified by hours and minutes. In 1881, Peczely published his theories in Discoveries in the Field of Natural Science and Medicine: Instruction in the Study of Diagnosis from the Eye.
Soon after, Swedish doctor Nils Liliequist added his observations on color changes. He was the first to identify the effects of drugs, such as iodine and quinine, on the iris.
One of his students, Dr. Henry Lahn, brought the practice of iridology to America near the turn of the century. A naturopath and chiropractor, Bernard Jensen has been America's foremost proponent of iridology. He is currently setting up a research center, creating a computerized eye bank, analyzing the irises of hundreds of heart and kidney patients. Each case is catalogued with its correlating iris signs information; Jensen hopes this will aid in standardizing iridology interpretations. Jensen developed one of the most comprehensive iris charts showing the location of the organs as they reflex in the iris of the eye. His chart is still the most accurate one available today.
A complete iris analysis will show whether a person exhibits a generally good constitution or a poor one, depending upon the density of the iris fibers. The patterns, structures, colors, and degrees of lightness and darkness in the iris tell if an area of the body is inherently strong or weak and reveals the relative state of activity, irritation, injury, or degeneration of the tissues and organs. Toxic accumulation levels can be observed as well as nutritional and chemical imbalances. Favorable changes, in the form of healing lines, are also recorded in the iris.
Iridology will not show or name a specific disease but provides information about the body tissues which indicate tendencies toward or away from conditions of 'dis-ease' often before symptoms appear. Iridology will not reveal surgery performed under anesthesia as nerve impulses are discontinued. Iridology cannot locate parasites, gallstones, or germ life, but will indicate the presence of inflammation and toxic conditions which are a refuge for their development. It will not show pregnancy, as that is a normal function of the female body.
Grapefruit Extract
What is It?
Grapefruit Extract(GSE) is made by first converting grapefruit seeds and pulp into a very acidic liquid.
This liquid is loaded with polyphenolic compounds, including quercitin, helperidin, campherol glycoside, neohelperidin, naringin, apigenin, rutinoside, poncirin, etc. The polyphenols themselves are unstable but are chemically converted into more stable substances that belong to a diverse class of products called quaternary ammonium compounds.
Some quaternary compounds, benzethonium chloride and benzalkonium chloride, for example, are used industrially as antimicrobials, but are toxic to animal life. The B vitamin choline is also a quaternary compound, but is non-toxic and even essential for maintaining healthy neurological function and fat metabolism.
GSE features the best of both worlds: the quaternary compounds derived from grapefruit exhibit broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, while evidencing none of the toxic side-effects of chemically-derived quaternaries.
The finished product is a viscous, yellow-amber colored liquid that features a taste that is both bitter and acidic. (Practitioners of Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine consider both qualities to be part of the therapeutic process.) Pure vegetable glycerin is added to reduce the bitterness and acidity to a tolerable level and to reduce the possibility that incidental contact could cause irritation to the skin or mucous membranes.
Grapefruit Extract Production
- Grapefruit pulp and seeds(the by-product of expeller-extracted grapefruit juice) is dried and ground into a fine powder.
- The grapefruit powder is dissolved in purified water and distilled to remove the fiber and pectin.
- This distilled slurry is spray dried at low temperatures forming a concentrated grapefruit bioflavonoid powder.
- This concentrated powder is dissolved in vegetable glycerine and heated.
- Food grade ammonium chloride and ascorbic acid are added, and this mixture is heated under pressure.
- This material undergoes catalytic conversion using natural catalysts (including hydrochloric acid and natural enzymes).
- This slurry is cooled, filtered and treated with ultraviolet light.
The amount of Ammonium Chloride remaining in the final product is between 15% and 19%. The amount of Ascorbic Acid remaining in the final product is between 25mg/g and 30mg/g. There is no residue of hydrochloric acid in the final product.
How Does it Work?
It should come as no surprise that we know a lot more about what GSE is good for, than exactly how it works.
Take aspirin. Since its development in 1899, billions of people have benefited from its ability to reduce inflammation, lessen pain, and lower fever. But exactly how it works is only recently being better understood.
Fro Seoul, Korea, Dr. Sung-Hwan of Abcom Chemie Co., Ltd states:
"Considering all the electron micrographs, we believe that the microbial uptake of GSE alters the cell membrane by inhibiting enzymatic activities… You can see the loss of the cytoplasmic membrane."
What is not known is how GSE can affect the cell membranes of such a diverse group of microbes with virtually no toxicity toward animal life(The "Acute Oral Toxicity Study" performed by an independent laboratory concluded that you would have to take 4,000 times the normal adult dose to risk a 50% chance of poisoning). And to complicate matters further, since viruses do not have a cell membrane of their own, how is it that GSE can act as an antiviral remedy as it does?
Unraveling the mysteries of GSE and its mechanisms would undoubtedly provide extremely valuable insight into the basic activity of microbes. We might hope that research funds will become available to answer the many questions raised about how it can be so potent and yet so safe.
How was GSE Discovered?
Jacob Harich was eating a grapefruit for breakfast one morning in France and savoring its taste.
World War II had just ended and since fresh fruit was a rare treat in Europe at that time, Jacob savored it all the more - until, that is, he bit into a seed! The extremely bitter taste of the seed interrupted his enjoyment of breakfast but also prompted him to wonder, 'What makes it so bitter?'
For many, such a question would have been of mere passing interest, but for Jacob, a budding scientist, it inspired a compelling inquiry, one that would take decades to answer and years more to 'bear fruit'.
Jacob Harich was born in Yugoslavia in 1919 and educated in Germany. WWII interrupted his studies in nuclear physics. After witnessing the horrors of war as a fighter pilot, young Harich was inspired to devote the rest of his life to improving the human condition. To this end, he augmented his studies in physics with a full university course in medicine, specializing in gynecology and immunology. Arriving in the United States in 1957, Dr. Harich furthered his education at Long Island University, N.Y. But it wasn't until 1963, after moving to the heart of grapefruit country in Florida, that he received the necessary support to carry out his research.
Harich approached Dr. Steven Otwell and Dr. Wayne Marshall, both leading researchers on the effects of microbes on food. Although initially skeptical, they were won over by the demonstration of GSE's amazing ability to protect produce, fish, and poultry from the assault of bacteria, fungi, and parasites. The reputation of these two doctors and the renown of the food science laboratory at the University of Florida, Gainesville, their home base, prompted other institutions to consider the claims being made by Dr. Harich.
Finally, by 1990, holistic health practitioners in the United States began to hear about this remarkable product, understand the implications for their patients, and thereby gave Dr. Harich's work the boost it deserved into scientific credibility.
In 1995 Dr. Harich was invited to Europe as a guest of honor of the Pasteur Institute of France, Europe's leading AIDS research center. For several years the Institute has been researching the potential of GSE as a prophylactic against the HIV virus as well as against some of the secondary infections associated with AIDS. He was also honored by farmers in Europe who now use a powdered form of GSE in fish and poultry feed to fight two potentially lethal bacteria, Salmonella and E. Coli.
Dr. Harich died in May of 1996. It is pleasant to think that he did receive in his lifetime the recognition he deserved for a life devoted to a revolutionary approach to controlling dangerous germs.
Garlic Drink Directions
Directions for taking any liquid nutritional support in a garlic drink daily for enhanced benefits.
Garlic drink: To a blender add 1 – 2 cloves of peeled garlic, 4-6 oz juice (e.g. V8, tomato, etc., not from a can), add any liquids currently taking), 1 TBL cold pressed organic oil such as olive or sunflower etc., OR 1 - 2 teaspoons of vegetable based oil and 1 teaspoon of cold pressed Castor Oil, blend to liquefy, add 2 – 4 more oz juice, blend and drink in AM on an empty stomach.
Garlic Drink Liver cleanse
To 8 ounces of hot good water, add 1-2 crushed cloves of garlic, the juice of ½ lemon (fresh squeezed) 1 teas of olive oil, and ¼ - ½ teas powdered cayenne (or 3-5 drops of the tincture). Mix well and drink. Within 10-15 minutes, drink a hot tea made with 1 teas each of flax, fennel and fenugreek seeds (this will cool the warmth from the first drink). Do this daily for 2 weeks and then for 1 week every 6 months.
